Since December 2019, from the very beginning, Battiloro has been part of the Handpan.World Maker network. Battiloro's journey through the musical universe began in 2007. A group of friends, musicians, and percussionists discovered the potential of a fascinating new instrument: the handpan. This passion for the instrument was combined with the expertise of experienced craftsmen, and thus Battiloro was born.

The production of the Battiloro handpan is carried out in harmony with the origins of this instrument and is exclusively handcrafted. In the two phases of careful design and sound research, 100% Made-in-Italy craftsmanship is ensured. Battiloro's team consists of highly qualified craftsmen who dedicate the necessary time to each individual instrument to shape, tune by ear, and complete it, until it becomes an incomparable unique piece.

Every instrument has its unique character, similar to a custom-made garment, and reflects the personality of the musician who chooses it. Therefore, we recommend trying the instruments in person. We warmly welcome you and are happy to assist you in choosing the instrument that best suits your taste and needs.

About the Argus tuning:

Like the giant of Greek mythology, the surface of Argus is covered with holes – twelve sound surfaces that are capable of bringing infinite musical compositions to life. Behind the Total Gold Finish, Argus reveals its elegant and delicate soul, which is reminiscent of an oriental atmosphere.

Tuning description:

With this timeless selection of tones (Amara), you effortlessly conjure sounds that, through pure fifths and fourths, remind you of bygone times. This instrument might have found its place in spiritual ceremonies during the time of the Celts. Compared to the full Aeolian mode, the sixth step is not present here, which makes this tuning slightly more open. Especially in the upper range, you can play very beautiful harmonies. This is one of the most popular tunings in the world of handpans.

Characteristic of Amara/Celtic Minor is the jump from DING to the first tone in the interval of a pure fifth (Example D-A). This fifth jump immediately opens up the tonal space and gives the tones above it a context. The next tone is a minor third above the fifth, which in turn reminds one of the natural harmonic series. From here, there are two whole steps, a semitone, two whole steps, and the jump of the minor third to the highest tone of the tuning, which results from the absence of the sixth step (Example D Celtic Minor: Tone Bb) .

This tuning sounds particularly archaic, as many pure intervals (fifth, fourth, octave) can be played, which were already used in the Middle Ages.

Another special feature arises from the arrangement of the tones: In the example D Celtic Minor, the tones on the right side form the triad of the root tone, in this case D minor (A-D-F-A). On the left side, however, all the tones of the major triad are one tone below the root tone, i.e., C major (C-E-G-C). In harmonic playing, the sound impression of major can thus very easily be represented. It is not for nothing the presumably most widely used handpan tuning.

Battiloro handpans are handcrafted with great care and dedication to ensure that every note and vibration is perfectly tuned. Made from high-quality steel, they offer a clear and resonant sound that immediately immerses the listener in a meditative and calming atmosphere.

Handcrafted in Italy, Battiloro handpans impress with their outstanding appearance. The tones sound extremely clean and with a delicacy that is also reflected in the tactile feel when touching the surface. All in all, a thoroughly elegant handpan.

What truly makes Battiloro handpans unique, however, is their tuning in 432 Hz. This special frequency is often referred to as a "healing" frequency and is said to have a profound effect on the body, mind, and soul. It is believed to balance the energy system, reduce stress, and promote a sense of relaxation and well-being.

Whether you are an experienced musician or simply want to experience the healing power of music, the Healing Frequency handpans in 432 Hz offer a versatile and intuitive way of playing. The different tones and harmonies can be effortlessly combined to create individual melodies and rhythmic patterns that unleash your creative expression.

These handpans are intended not only for personal use, but also for therapeutic purposes. They can be used in music therapy, meditation, yoga, relaxation techniques, and other spiritual practices to promote a profound and healing experience.

Battiloro's in 432 Hz are more than just a musical instrument - they are a way to connect with yourself and the world around you. Immerse yourself in the powerful and healing soundscape and let yourself be carried by the magic of music. Experience harmony, serenity, and transformation with the handpans in 432 Hz.

In contrast to the hectic times that surround us, Battiloro presents the Moon Handpan product line. This line invites you to discover yourself through the slow practice of self-exploration. The instruments, made of stainless steel in various versions and colors, from bronze to silver to copper, offer a deep sustain and a brilliant, crystal-clear sound. The scales range from high to very low frequencies and create an exclusive experience that expresses the infinite range of your own inner desires. With the Battiloro handpan, you will discover a world of sonic possibilities that will take your musical journey to a new level.

Customer photo review of Battiloro CHANDRA - 432 Hz "Healing Frequency" Handpan: F Equinox Edelstahl

Danke an Handpan.

Questions & answers when buying a handpan:

Reference to manual work on our Handpan instruments

Our handpans are elaborately crafted by hand. Even though our handpans are made with the utmost care and craftsmanship, natural differences in color, slight variations in design and minimal manufacturing marks, such as fine scratches or unevenness on the tone fields and the sound body, may occur.

Visible hammer marks, which are caused by the precise tuning of the instrument by hand, are characteristic features of handmade handpans. They are evidence of authentic craftsmanship and do not represent a quality defect. On the contrary, they emphasize the uniqueness of each instrument.
