Is a bag included with the handpans?

The instruments we offer do not include bags, as everyone has different requirements for a handpan case. Some want the simplest/cheapest option, others are looking for a solid or high-quality soft case for everyday use, still others travel a lot or are on the go and need the best possible protection from a hard case. Some don't want a bag at all because they only want to play the instrument at home. As you can see, it makes no sense to offer a specific bag model directly. That's why we decided not to include the bags in the price, but to give a 20% discount when buying a handpan online when ordering equipment such as bags, stands, holders and care supplies (for a maximum of 3 products). This discount will be automatically applied to you during the ordering process.
So there is the possibility of a free choice of bags and every requirement is taken care of equally.

Is installment financing possible?

Our aim is to make this dream possible for everyone who dreams of a handpan, despite the high investment. To make it easier for you to finance your handpan, we offer you the option of an installment loan through our partner Santander. This allows you to start playing the handpan directly without having to pay the high amount at once. Instead, you can relax and finance your handpan over a longer period of up to 72 months on good terms. You are free to choose the amount of the installment and the term. You are also welcome to make a down payment and pay off the remaining amount in installments.

You can easily apply for the installment loan during the ordering process for your desired handpan. Within a few minutes, the application is approved in 95% of the cases. If your application is rejected for any reason, please contact us directly.

Overview of the rate conditions according to terms:

0% financing for a term of up to 6 months - we cover the interest costs

Special conditions of 3.90% for terms of up to 12 months - we pay up to 2.01% interest for you.

With a term of 12 to 72 months, the annual percentage rate is 7.90%

What payment options can I choose from?
You can easily select your preferred payment method during the last step of the ordering process (payment). We accept all common payment methods such as prepayment, credit card, debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Bancontact, EPS, Google Pay, iDeal. You can also finance your handpan over a longer period of time with Santander installment purchase.

Is there a guarantee on a handpan purchased from Handpan.World?
We guarantee the highest sound quality and tuning stability. Depending on the model, our instruments should remain in tune for two to five years. If your handpan goes out of tune naturally within the first two years, the Handpan.World guarantee applies and we will have your handpan retuned free of charge.
This guarantee does not apply to disturbances caused by external influences such as falls or the impact of solid objects on sound fields. Accidents of this kind can usually be rectified - of course you can use our tuning service for this.

How long does delivery of my handpan take?
All directly available handpans are delivered within the EU in 3-7 working days.
All other pre-ordered handpans are lovingly made for you by hand. Depending on the manufacturer, the production time is 2-5 weeks. After you have placed your order, we will inform you about the expected delivery time and keep you informed about the status of things.

Do I have to pay shipping costs?
Within the EU we will deliver your ordered handpan to you free of charge. Outside the EU, depending on the region, shipping costs are €50-100. You will be informed about the exact shipping costs during the ordering process.

30 days exchange possible:
After receiving your handpan, you have the opportunity to convince yourself of the sound quality of the handpan you have ordered.
If you are not satisfied with the delivered handpan, you can exchange the handpan with us within 30 days without any problems.

14 days right of return:
We adhere to the European right of cancellation and return for online purchases - with the exception of custom-made products on pre-order*. Every online retailer is legally bound to grant its customers a fourteen-day return policy after receipt of the delivery against reimbursement of the purchase price. * Custom-made products on customer request:
According to § 312 d paragraph 4 BGB , orders that are to be considered as custom-made products at the customer's request are excluded from the right of withdrawal. This affects handpans that are not directly available but must be made to order - especially those with bottom notes. Of course, there is still a warranty obligation for the correctness of the ordered goods, tuning stability and correct tuning. Defects are to be reported immediately after they become known and Handpan.World is to be given the opportunity to rectify the defect. In addition, as a gesture of goodwill, Handpan.World also grants a 30-day right of exchange for custom-made products - we want every Handpan.World resident to be happy at the end of the day.

Can I have my handpan retuned at Handpan.World?
Of course, we offer a tuning service for handpans purchased from us. If your handpan is out of tune, you can use our tuning service - included free of charge in your Handpan.World guarantee for the first two years. We take care of the entire process: the instrument to be retuned will be picked up from you and returned to you within two weeks, perfectly tuned.

Even after the Handpan.World guarantee has expired, we will of course take care of the retuning of your Handpan.
The costs vary between 100-250€ depending on the instrument and the degree of detuning.

We have meanwhile decided against taking over the retuning of instruments from other suppliers. We have received quite a few requests to retune cheap, mass produced or poorly built instruments. Unfortunately, only well-built handpans can be retuned. We therefore recommend that you buy from a provider who guarantees tuning stability and who also offers a tuning service.

Send us a video recording of the detuned handpan with the tuning order. Play each tone field separately and then improvise a little. This gives us a first impression of the degree of detuning and allows us to better assess the effort involved in retuning.
