Handpan workshops for beginners & advanced with Benni Pfeifer in the Handpan Showroom Munich

Dear handpan enthusiasts and interested parties, from now on we are offering a handpan workshop for beginners once a month in the Handpan.World showroom in Munich. The experienced percussionist and musician Benni Pfeiffer introduces you to the world of sound of the handpan and gives you the most important basis for playing independently.

Benni's invitation to the handpan workshop for beginners at the Handpan.World showroom in Munich:
The magical sound of the handpan has fascinated me for many years and the combination of melody and rhythm simply offers great possibilities. I would like to share my enthusiasm and experiences with you. In the 2-hour handpan course , in a relaxed atmosphere, you will get to know the wonderful instrument the handpan, get valuable impulses to start playing the handpan and learn independently.

In addition to some theoretical information about the instrument (history, structure and tuning), the
Workshop mainly about playing and sounding together. I'll show you touch techniques, tone sequences, rhythms and first melodies. No previous musical knowledge is required.

What makes handpan playing so special?
The handpan is a very accessible and easy to learn, intuitive to play musical instrument. The interaction of movement and sound relaxes, makes you happy and you can express your mood.
Get creative, enjoy the meditative sounds, immerse yourself and find peace. But you can also play driving and exciting rhythms from all over the world on the handpan.

The workshops take place with a maximum of 8 participants.

You don't need your own instrument. High-quality handpans are provided, but you are of course welcome to bring your own instruments.
