Like every handpan, the AeloPans also consist of two assembled stainless steel shells that form the sound body. During the manufacturing process, the tone fields are laboriously incorporated by hand onto the curved surface and then precisely tuned. Since the process is handmade, dents and unevenness will occur in the tone field - this is completely normal and is part of the visual character of a good handpan.

Mood description:
The mermaid (La Sirena) attracts visitors with her incomparable singing, which not only captivates sailors. This scale sounds very special, what else would you expect from this name. She doesn't want to choose between the sound atmosphere of two different church scales. If you set the first note as your tonal center, this pan will sing to you in angelic tones of the Lydian mode. This mode sounds even brighter than the Ionian mode (major) because it has a raised 4th degree (example La Sirena in C: the note A in relation to the note Eb / cf. Sabye).
But if you choose the THING as the pivot point for your musical phrases, the mermaid's voice will feel covered in a grayish veil of mist as you switch to the Dorian mode (minor).
This makes this atmosphere very exciting and is ideal for explorers who are not afraid of being drawn under the magical spell of the mermaid.
From the thing to the first tone there is a jump of a minor third, from here to the second tone a major third, so that you can already express a minor triad with the lowest tones. From the fifth tone the scale progresses upwards in steps, except that the second tone in the scale (with the tonal center on the first tone) is not present, thus making the pan a hexatonic.
