The experienced percussionists and musicians Benni Pfeiffer, Chris Partsch and Nils Caspar will introduce you to the world of sound of the handpan and give you the most important basic methods for playing independently.

The magical sound of the handpan has fascinated me for many years and the combination of melody and rhythm simply offers great possibilities. I would like to share my enthusiasm and experiences with you. In the 2-hour handpan course , in a relaxed atmosphere, you will get to know the wonderful instrument, the handpan, and receive valuable inspiration to get started playing the handpan and learning independently.

In addition to some theoretical information about the instrument (history, structure and tuning), the workshop is mainly about playing and sounding together. I will show you striking techniques, tone sequences, rhythms and first melodies. No previous musical knowledge is necessary.
