The Spirit Wave Mini Handpans represent a particularly warm sound experience. Their gentle tones, seasoned with a full-bodied timbre, reach beneath the skin into every cell. The long-lasting and at the same time well-balanced aftertaste, also known as sustain, ensures a spherical sound carpet - for both slower and faster playing styles. The full, spacious sound creates a calming, warm atmosphere.
The Spirit Wave Mini handpans are very suitable for studio recordings due to their very clear and fine sound. For good reason, they are particularly popular to accompany meditation, yoga and sound journeys. The sounds open up a space of inner experience, mindfulness and sensual feeling. An aura full of encounter that connects us with our deepest self and at the same time with what is greater than us.

High-quality, specially hardened stainless steel is used for production. The visual design and sound aesthetics of these instruments are well coordinated and form a sophisticated unit. Finely crafted tone fields make playing very easy. Every touch creates a beautiful sound. This makes the Spirit Wave Mini handpans easy to play even for newcomers.

ASHAKIRAN - be enlightened by the ray of hope (translated from ancient Indian). This tuning is one of the major variations, vibrating holistically. This scale is characterized by the increased tone on the fourth step of the scale. Thus the mode is Lydian. Overall, this scale sounds a little happier than the classic major tuning (Ionian). The Lydian mode is used extensively in traditional musical styles, such as the Forrò music of northeastern Brazil. This tuning is highly recommended for music therapy and free intuitive playing. It is also suitable for surrounding yourself with healing sounds.

“Ashakiran” is the nickname for Sabye , who expands the scale even further with a wider, higher pitch.

The tone sequence starts from the DING to the first tone with a fourth jump, which acts like a prelude. From there it goes up gradually until there is a small jump in a third from the seventh tone, which turns the tone into an octave of the DING. This makes the sound a little more open, so that it is not grounded in the upper octave range, but vibrates freely. This tuning creates a major triad on the first, second and fourth notes, and a minor triad on the first, second and third notes. This mood sends you light, encouragement and good energy!

Our handpans are elaborately crafted by hand. Even though our handpans are made with the utmost care and craftsmanship, natural differences in color, slight variations in design and minimal manufacturing marks, such as fine scratches or unevenness on the tone fields and the sound body, may occur.

Visible hammer marks, which are caused by the precise tuning of the instrument by hand, are characteristic features of handmade handpans. They are evidence of authentic craftsmanship and do not represent a quality defect. On the contrary, they emphasize the uniqueness of each instrument.

Our handpans are manufactured with the utmost care and precision to guarantee the highest sound quality. However, this quality takes time. Below you will find an overview of the estimated production time for your handpan:

Estimated production time:

  • Standard instruments (9-12 notes, root notes G3 to B2): approx. 4 to 10 weeks
  • Custom-made instruments with low tunings (fundamental A2-E2): up to 3 months
  • Bottomnote instruments up to 15 notes: up to 3.5 months
  • Bottom-note instruments up to 21 notes: up to 4 months
  • Longer production times are to be expectedfor the manufacturers Svaraa, Aya Sounds, NamiPan and Handromeda, in particular due to the high volume of orders.

Note: The stated production times are estimates and do not represent binding delivery dates. Additional factors such as shipping times or possible customs clearance may extend the delivery time.
