Will my Airtek fit on the plane?

Yes, you can take your Airtek into the cabin. If the space in the carry-on compartment is smaller than expected, you can release the air using the large valve. As soon as the air is released, close the valves again - until arrival. Then inflate again.


Is Airtek 100% waterproof?
No, but it is waterproof. However, if you want maximum protection from water, we recommend using our Raincover.


Can I put my handpan into the Airtek when it is fully inflated?
No. It could jeopardize the integrity of your instrument and the zipper. It is important to always remove air from both cushions before packing your handpan in Airtek. (See video tutorial)


Do I have to inflate Airtek every time I use it?
Yes. The self-inflating system inflates the case to approximately 80%.
The rest of the inflation is done with your mouth. With 3-4 breaths you can adjust the pressure for your instrument to achieve maximum protection from AIR TECHNOLOGY.

IMPORTANT: Do not use pumps or compressors to inflate the air cushions, the mouth is completely sufficient. When using inflation aids, there is a risk that the air cushions will be overfilled and thus damaged.

Can I change the air cushions in the Airtag?
Yes, if for some reason you want to change the air cushions, it can be done in a short time and with very little effort.
