The Aelo Handpan is characterized by a warm and long-lasting sound.
Due to the perfectly balanced reverberation and the balanced vibration development, the Aelo Handpan is the perfect combination of percussion and melody instrument. Even a light touch produces fine and distinct sounds. This ensures an expressive and detailed sound performance.

The high-quality material, rust-proof and corrosion-resistant stainless steel, gives the handpan its shine and elegant appearance. The material is robust and easy to clean. Due to the slightly higher material thickness compared to conventional stainless steel handpans, the AeloPans are more durable in terms of tuning stability and less susceptible to impacts and falls.

Like every handpan, the AeloPans consist of two assembled stainless steel shells that form the sound body. During the manufacturing process, the sound fields are laboriously worked by hand onto the curved surface and then precisely tuned. Since the process is manual, dents and bumps occur in the sound field - this is completely normal and is part of the visual character of a good handpan.

The Aelo handpan is professional and perfectly tuned. It impresses with its quality and sound at the highest level. The handpan has an optimal and well-balanced resonance vibration across all tones. There are no annoying metallic sounds when playing. The tone is warm and powerful. The reverberation of the individual tones is further enhanced by the solid stainless steel.

With it, you can play everything from calm and meditative to melancholic to powerful and cheerful, with a wide variety of styles.

Even though this mood can sound very sentimental, you can create cheerful sounds with it. For example, the second and third notes each produce a major triad. Just be aware that the second and third notes will be played at the same time. You can of course also consciously use this tension to spice up your playing and make the relaxation seem stronger afterwards.

This tuning is one of the first seven-tone tunings that was built and has become very popular through some videos on the Internet.

Kurd takes the name of the Arabic/Turkish maqam Kurd. This selection of tones also shares the arrangement of the tones with this maqam if one assumes that the tonal center is on the first tone in the circle. This creates the complete Phrygian mode, which is characterized by a semitone step (semitone) from the root note to the second note of the scale and is responsible for the mysterious sound of the scale.

However, there is still an ambivalence, as the DING is a fifth below the first note and thus acts like a second tonal center, which causes the mode to change to Aeolian (natural minor). Depending on the playing style, you can switch between natural minor and Phrygian sound character. Der Unterschied zur 440 Hz ist wirklich spürbar und ich freue mich schon sehr sie therapeutisch einzusetzen, um die heilsamen Effekte auch für andere nutzen zu können. Ganz super toller Service! Fühlte mich wunderbar gut aufgehoben bei der Beratung und beim Kundenservice. Man hat hier wirklich das Gefühl, dass es nicht darum geht, möglichst viele und teure Handpans zu verkaufen, sondern genau das PASSENDE zu finden für den jeweiligen Kunden. Sehr sympathische Mitarbeiter mit viel Knowhow, die offensichtlich lieben was sie tun. Als ich mit der zuerst bestellten Handpan nicht ganz glücklich war, fanden wir schließlich die perfekte Pan für mich, mit der ich jetzt enorm viel Freude habe! Super Qualität, toller Klang (insbesondere der lange Nachklang begeistert mich) und macht einfach Spaß zu spielen - richtig magnetisierend. Hallo ich war im Showroom Chiemgau. Vor Ort die verschiedenen Instrumente auszuprobieren ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Trotz der großen Auswahl war es dann ganz leicht durch Helges Gespür für seine Instrumente und für Menschen, genau meine zu finden. Die Stimmung D Celtic Minor ist wundervoll warm und meditativ, dazu noch auf 432 Hz gestimmt, da kann einem nur das Herz aufgehen. Durch die herzliche Art von Helge und die tolle Beratung vergeht die Zeit wie im Flug und man geht sicher mit der richtigen Handpan nach Hause. Das Spielen macht so viel Freude. Vielen Dank

AeloPan D Celtic Minor / Amara 9 - 17 Edelstahl

Hallo zusammen, nachdem wir im Sommer einen Anfängerkurs bei Stefan Spatz in der Nähe von Neuburg bei Passau gemacht hatten und uns da unsere ersten beiden Handpans gekauft hatten, musste ich meine schöne Kita D Kurd 9 nach einem Unfall zum Stimmen bringen. Dafür besuchte ich Basti in München. Schonmal dort konnte ich nicht widerstehen und habe mich durchprobiert. Basti begleitete mich mit Sachverstand, Geduld und guten Tipps. Das Ergebnis habe ich jetzt seit ein paar Tagen zu Hause. Das Video ist leider nicht das Beste ... wie auch meine noch in den Kinderschuhen steckende Spieltechnik. Aber vielleicht bekommt trotzdem der Ein oder Andere einen Eindruck von diesem herrlichen Instrument.

Herzlichen Dank für den außergewöhnlichen, freundlichen und wunderbar unkomplizierten Service. Jeder/m, die/der eine Handpan kaufen möchte, kann ich wärmstens empfehlen, sie in diesem Shop zu kaufen. Das faszinierende Instrument ist angekommen. Die Handpan ist perfekt. Alle Töne sind optimal ausbalanciert, ihr Klang ist warm, kraftvoll und hält, wie gewünscht, etwas länger an. Sie kann tatsächlich sowohl meditativ-melancholisch wie auch kraftvoll und fröhlich klingen. Optimal also für therapeutische oder einfach nur für Entschleunigungszwecke nach einem stressigen Tag. Im Übrigen halte ich diese AeloPan auch bei älteren Menschen mit Gelenkproblemen für absolut geeignet, da man dem Instrument schon bei leichter Berührung feine Klänge entlocken kann. Die Handpan ist intuitiv und recht einfach zu spielen. Außerdem sieht sie wunderschön elegant aus. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung in diesem Shop; Top!

Reference to manual work on our Handpan instruments

Our handpans are elaborately crafted by hand. Even though our handpans are made with the utmost care and craftsmanship, natural differences in color, slight variations in design and minimal manufacturing marks, such as fine scratches or unevenness on the tone fields and the sound body, may occur.

Visible hammer marks, which are caused by the precise tuning of the instrument by hand, are characteristic features of handmade handpans. They are evidence of authentic craftsmanship and do not represent a quality defect. On the contrary, they emphasize the uniqueness of each instrument.

Custom-made products:
At Handpan.World you can order your handpan exactly as you want it - be it the scale, the note layout or other individual details.

Do you have a special scale or note layout in mind that we don't offer as standard? We can have your handpan made to your specifications by the manufacturer of your choice.

Our handpans are manufactured with the utmost care and precision to guarantee the highest sound quality. However, this quality takes time. Below you will find an overview of the estimated production time for your handpan:

Estimated production time:

  • Standard instruments (9-12 notes, root notes G3 to B2): approx. 4 to 10 weeks
  • Custom-made instruments with low tunings (fundamental A2-E2): up to 3 months
  • Bottomnote instruments up to 15 notes: up to 3.5 months
  • Bottom-note instruments up to 21 notes: up to 4 months
  • Longer production times are to be expectedfor the manufacturers Svaraa, Aya Sounds, NamiPan and Handromeda, in particular due to the high volume of orders.

Note: The stated production times are estimates and do not represent binding delivery dates. Additional factors such as shipping times or possible customs clearance may extend the delivery time.

The estimates are based on our previous experience and are provided without guarantee. Depending on the order situation, delays in the processes or unforeseen events, the actual production time may vary and may be shorter or longer.
