The Aelo Handpan is characterized by a warm and long-lasting sound.
Due to the perfectly balanced resonance and the balanced vibration development, the Aelo Handpan is the perfect combination of percussion and melodic instrument. Even with a light touch, fine and distinct sounds are created. This ensures an expressive and detailed sound performance.
The AeloPans are ideal for both beginners and professional musicians. Their above-average sound volume also makes them particularly suitable for playing in large rooms or outside in nature and public spaces.
The Aelo Handpan, which is particularly intuitive and easy to play, can be used to create fascinating sound patterns. The soundscape ranges from simple to complex. The player is offered inexhaustible possibilities; from more complicated rhythms, virtuoso melodies to touching chords and two-part melodies; The AeloPan can be combined in many different ways.
The uniquely soft, ethereal and mysterious sounds of the instrument quickly attract the listener's attention. The soothing sound takes you on an inner journey. The fascinating timbre of the Aelo Handpan is ideal for concerts, studio recordings, street music, as well as musical accompaniment for spiritual activities, such as yoga, sound therapy or meditation.
The high-quality material, rust-proof and corrosion-resistant stainless steel, gives the handpan its shine and elegant look. The material is robust and easy to care for. Due to the slightly higher material thickness compared to conventional stainless steel handpans, the AeloPans are more durable in terms of tuning stability and are less susceptible to shocks and falls.
Like every handpan, the AeloPans also consist of two assembled stainless steel shells that form the sound body. During the manufacturing process, the tone fields are laboriously incorporated by hand onto the curved surface and then precisely tuned. Since the process is handcrafted, dents and unevenness will occur in the tone field - this is completely normal and is part of the visual character of a good handpan.
The Aelo handpan is professional and perfectly tuned. It impresses with its quality and sound at the highest level. The handpan has an optimal and well-balanced resonance vibration across all tones. There are no annoying metallic sounds when playing. The timbre is warm and powerful. The reverberation behavior of the individual tones is further enhanced by the solid stainless steel.

Major is the English name for major. In the system of church scales this is also referred to as Ionian. This full Ionic mode gives you a lot of options. For example, you can play different triads and other chords. This mood is also very suitable for playing melodically. The major scale is one of the most important pillars of Western music.
Some handpan tunings are derived from this scale, e.g.: Aegean, Raga Bhupali, Silver Spring, Arkadian
From the Thing to the first note there is a fifth jump (as with Celtic Minor / Kurd etc.) From here the order of the notes of the major scale follows.
You can also temporarily place the tonal center on the first note by clearly accompanying your phrases with the first note. It makes sense to leave the THING out for a while. This will cause the sound impression to move away from the Ionian mode towards the Myxolydian mode. You can do the same with the second tone, this will switch you to the Aeolian mode.
Some manufacturers offer this tuning without the fourth note of the scale (example C Major - without F). This makes the sound a little more open and with a different handpan that has the note F# (not F), for example, you can switch to Lydian mode , such as Sabye.
Possible tone sequences:
Tone sequence with 9 notes: F/ CDEFGA Bb C
Tone sequence with 10 notes: F/ (Bb ) CDEFGA Bb C
