The Nami Handpans contain the power of the ocean and the east wind. These special musical instruments are born on the cliffs of an island in the Atlantic Ocean. Each instrument is created under the influence of the elements and in harmony with nature. The harmony of the surging waves of the sea flow into the sound of these instruments, as does the whisper of the wind. The sounds of the Nami handpans invite you to surf them and melt into the melody. The sound of handpans promotes concentration, mental relaxation, strengthens the immune system and creates a wonderful feeling of joy and well-being.
The sea gives the sound artist Daniele new inspiration every day, which he incorporates into building the handpans.
Nami handpans from Embersteel:
The extremely long aftertaste brings with it an extreme richness in overtones. These handpans are probably the most sustain-heavy instruments we know. The more pronounced crosstalking effects make the whole instrument seem to sing along. This creates a versatile soundscape that is particularly inviting to slower, meditative games. This extremely mystical, spherical sound allows the player to dive into other spheres and can lead to trance-like states. With the included handpan gloves, the sustain and the extreme richness of overtones can be weakened a little and also makes medium-fast playing possible.

Mood description Magic Voyage
Ready to take off! Thanks to its wide range, this mood always remains airy and light, so you can start your musical-magical journey straight away. Through your playing style you can influence whether the major or minor character predominates (Ionian or Aeolian). For example, if you play musical phrases that start and end on the DING, then you will increase the minor sound impression, in contrast, if you use the 1st note a lot, the major character will predominate. However, a certain tension between major and minor still remains, which gives this mood its floating character.
This is our recommendation if you can't quite afford space tourism yet.
Ambivalence is the name of the game here! From bottom to top there are three jumps in thirds up to the minor seventh (thing intended as the root note), which leads to a minor seventh chord. From the next tone (octave of the DING), the tones repeat again, but the second tone of the chromatic scale (None from the DING) is added. Due to the many jumps in thirds, this mood spreads over almost 2 octaves, resulting in a wide and spherical sound impression.
Taking the first note as the root note creates a major triad with a sixth, which is very often used in bossa nova music, for example. The additional tone in the upper octave would therefore represent the minor seventh to the first tone. Overall, this model is a very easy and intuitive instrument to play, especially due to the feature of the five-step, semitoneless scale (anhemitonic pentatonic). Magic Voyage shares many features with the Equinox scale, but is a bit more dreamy.
